Bio
Dr. Carlos E. Sanchez has presented research findings at numerous scientific meetings, including the American College of Cardiology and American Heart Association's Scientific Sessions. He has contributed to several professional publications and book chapters and was the lead author of a multi-center study in the management of complex ischemic heart disease by a multidisciplinary heart team. He currently is the institutional primary investigator in two clinical trials involving cardiac rehabilitation in patients who receive transcatheter aortic valve replacement and cardiac stem cell therapy study to achieve heart muscle regeneration after a heart attack. He is a Fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Society of Angiography and Cardiovascular Intervention. A native of Guatemala, Dr. Sanchez is fluent in both Spanish and English. He enjoys soccer, as well as professional and college football.
